The findings are in! New Flinders University research looked at 1000 lunchboxes to determine the average cost per child per day, for a child's lunchbox (morning tea, f/v break, lunch) and found it is between $3-6 per day.
Many are doing it tough, and you can do a healthy lunch on a budget, especially when you move the packaged goods that typically do not fill them up either way.
To keep it in perspective, this is less than a coffee in many places!
